Matilda Lindblad is responsible for environment policy, circular economy and sustainable finance in the Industrial Affairs department at BusinessEurope. In her role, she deals with legislative files in all these fields, including the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation and the EU Taxonomy. Matilda is a Swedish lawyer specialised in environment and sustainability matters. Prior to joining BusinessEurope, she worked as a trainee at the European Commission (DG Environment) and as a law clerk at the Land and Environment Court in Stockholm. She has also worked with business law and corporate responsibility as a legal counsel at a law firm.

Matilda holds a Master’s degree in law and studied at Uppsala University and the University of Glasgow. She is fluent in English and understands Norwegian and basic Spanish, in addition to her mother tongue Swedish.
