Roemer Sijmons has been an Adviser at the International Relations Department of BusinessEurope since May 2023. Prior to joining BusinessEurope, he worked for several years at a top tier US law firm in Brussels and also the European Commission (DG Trade) and the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Washington, D.C. He holds Master’s degrees in EU international relations and diplomacy from the College of Europe (Bruges) and in European law from the Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He is fluent in English and Dutch.
